Hello lovelies, we are dashing through December at some speed. Arriving at day 11 of the advent calendar and these next 5 days feature 5 different items all from Marks and Spencer. It's the marmite shop of the high street but there is no denying Marks and Spencer remain on trend, at an affordable price and great quality. The involvement of style icon Alexa Chung really shows the younger generations that Marks and Sparks is still relevant. Nod to Alexa on Day 15.

An essential for any winter wardrobe is a good set of gloves. These can be a real investment piece and the cost per wear is easily justified. Sticking with theme of leather, I've selected a pair of leather block heel ankle boots. These gorgeous boots come in white, grey and black, £79.  I like the contrast heel, adds interest, it's a great heel height and comfortable to wear all day.

It is more leather and another must have. Actually it's faux leather, this attractive bowler style bag is compact and practical. It comes with a shoulder strap when you need to go hands free and the shearling detail panel and trim is bang on trend and a great alternative shape to a tote or messenger style bag.

I was going to bring you a bit of velvet here but sadly the options I had rapidly went out of stock, I couldn't tease you! So I opted for a classic satin tuxedo jacket, £69.  This is a gorgeous jacket and really versatile. It would look stunning with your party outfit and great with jeans and boots when party season has left us. You could even channel your inner 80s super model and opt to wear just a bralet underneath!

It's speaks for itself, team it with a leather mini or pvc trousers. Layer under a neutral chunky knit and wear with denim. Perfect under the tuxedo jacket, the options endless.
