Ginger and Duck

When in Holt or sheringham, don't hesitate to pop in to Ginger and Duck. Home decor, gifts and woman clothing.

Fab, quirky, inspirational items that make great gifts or something special for your own home. I am very proud to say the owner Pippa Bennett is a very dear friend of mine and when our paths crossed again recently before she had acquired the shops I was so excited to hear about her new plans. Sadly Pippa had lost her father last year and the inspiration for the shop name came from him and his partner. His partner Sue having a passion for ducks had bought him a bear for Christmas whom he named Ginger. Such a touching tribute to them and it clearly comes across in Pippas commitment to the shops and making them a success.  Pippa asked if I'd like to visit the shops and I visited sheringham on a day it was closed and boy did we have a fun few hours playing dress up with the mannequins and the clothes, rearranging the vast collection of scarves and colour cooridnating til our OCD was tamed. It was great. So when Pippa asked if I'd like to do the same at the Holt shop we set a date. We also discussed the possibility of restocking the shops with a visit to commercial road in London. That was a great experience and we stocked up with some amazing items.  The clothes in the shops are relaxed, casual items that are easy to wear, easy to style and affordable additions to you wardrobe. Pippa is also now starting to stock some retro and vintage fashion items. Pippa has formally opened the shops now. We are excited to say that we will be working together on some workshop covering styling, trends, scarves, jewellery, etc. So come along and take a look and keep an eye out for some fun events.
